The Annual Mela at Dera Baba Murad Shah Ji is one of the largest spiritual gatherings in Punjab, drawing hundreds of thousands of devotees from across India and abroad. The two-day mela is celebrated every year on 28 & 29 August with Qawwali nights, special prayers, langar seva, and the beloved performance by Gurdas Maan.

Night 1 — 28 August

Gurdas Maan at the Mela

World-renowned Punjabi singer Gurdas Maan has been performing at the Annual Mela for decades — a tradition born from his deep personal connection with Laadi Sai Ji. His performance on the second night is the most-awaited event for lakhs of devotees who travel from across Punjab and beyond.

Baisakhi Mela

Celebrated on Baisakhi, this festival marks the harvest season and is observed with great devotion at the Darbaar. Special prayers, community langar, and cultural programs are held on this auspicious occasion.

Urs Celebration

November

The annual Urs in memory of Hazrat Baba Murad Shah Ji is observed in November with recitation of prayers, Qawwali mehfil, and distribution of prasad. Exact dates vary each year.
